sURF BOWL
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Step by step instructions on assembling your Surf Bowl.
Unscrew the parts one by one from the wood support construcion.
Carefully unload the fiberglass parts by forklift and move to the assembly area together with the other components.
Arrange the parts by color in assembly area.
If your version of the Surf Bowl has stairs, make sure to place the short section with 2 top surface holes in the center of assembly area.
Start the assembly with the long part of the straight center section.
First lift the back side of the section and place it in the slot of the Long U-Bracket Legs. Attach the legs temoprarily by hand with M12x60mm bolt and M12 nut.
After that place the front side in the slot of the Short U-Bracket Legs.
Place the back side of the section in the slot of the Short U-Bracket Legs.
Lift the front side in the slot of the Long U-Bracket Legs and attach the legs temoprarily by hand with M12x60mm bolt and M12 nut.
Use a Ø 12mm steel rod with chamfered tips to align the mounting holes for inserting the M12x40mm bolts.
Use M12x40mm Bolt, 2x M12 Washers, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut to connect the fiberglass section through the 10 holes.
Use M12x60mm Bolt, 2x M12 Washers, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut to attach the Short U-Bracket Legs on both sides.
Tighten all bolts by hand so that 2 sections can be leveled.
Use a Spirit Level to align height of both segments.
Tighten all bolts with electric screwdriver.
Lift the section and place it in the slots of both U-Bracket Legs on both sides. Attach the legs temporarily by hand with M12x60mm bolt and M12 nut.
Use M12x40mm Bolt, 2x M12 Washers, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut to connect the fiberglass section through all holes by hand.
Align the fiberglass sections with a Spirit Level and tighten all bolts with an Electric Screwdriver.
Lift the section and place it in the slots of both U-Bracket Legs on both sides. Attach the legs temporarily by hand with M12x60mm bolt and M12 nut.
Use M12x40mm Bolt, 2x M12 Washers, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut to connect the fiberglass section through all holes by hand.
Align the fiberglass sections with a Spirit Level and tighten all bolts with an Electric Screwdriver.
Assemble and level all remaining straight fiberglass sections.
Do not assemble the round sections yet.
Attach both sides of the Stair Brackets with M12x40mm Bolt, M12 Washer, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut through each of the 4 holes in the fiberglass section.
Attach each of the Stairs to Stair Brackets with a M12x60mm Bolt, M12 Washer, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut.
Tighten by hand until all stairs have been attached and leveled.
Attach the bottom part of the handrail by screwing in the foot and tightening the nut.
Attach the top part of the handrail with a
M12 x 60mm Countersunk Bolt
from the bottom of the bracket.
Screw in the adjustable legs in the Stair Bracket holes.
Unscrew the 2 U-Bracket Legs on the sides of stairs, so that the center section is only supported by the Stair Legs.
Repeat STEPS 2.5. & 2.6. until all of the straight sections have been assembled.
Use the same steps and fasteners to attach the Round Fiberglass Sections on the ends and U-Bracket Legs.
Use M12x40mm Bolt, M12 Washer, M12 Spring Washer and M12 Nut to attach the Welded L Bracket legs to each of the 4 holes in the center of Round Sections.
Repeat for all 4 Round Sections.
1. Use an Adjustable Wrench to adjust the Surf Bowl leg length.
2. Lock the leg height by tightening the upper nut against the leg tube.
Check if the perimeter of surf bowl is level with a laser level.
Adjust the leg length again if necessary.
